Animal Husbandry

Helping out with animal chores requires endurance, strength, and responsibility. Maintaining animal corrals is hard work and is one of the character-development opportunities available for our students. The older children who embark upon the adventure of assisting with animal husbandry gain valuable experience in work ethics—from being part of a team milking up to fifty goats and herding them back to the field, horseback riding, and learning to tend and care for many other animal needs.
